Raising A Glass To Yorkshire Hospitality

It’s been a strong couple of weeks for the Yorkshire hospitality scene, with both the Leeds Fave Awards and the Oliver Hospitality Awards celebrating the people and places that make this industry what it is.

We were down at the Leeds Fave Awards last night, an event we were proud to support, and it was a great reminder of just how much quality there is across the city. The room was full of independent operators, teams and familiar faces who showcased just how vibrant the hospitality industry can be. A brilliant event, and a real credit to everyone involved in organising it.

A big congratulations to all the winners and nominees across both events. Recognition like this is always well deserved, but especially at the moment, it feels that bit more important.

It’s no secret that the trade has had its challenges over the past few years and continues to do so. Behind every award is a huge amount of hard work, long hours and a real commitment to getting things right day in, day out. It’s easy for that to go unnoticed, so it’s great to see it being properly acknowledged.

What stands out more than anything is the standard across the board. Whether it’s neighbourhood restaurants, bars, pubs or more premium venues, the quality, creativity and attention to detail across Yorkshire is as strong as it’s ever been.

Events like these don’t just celebrate individual venues, they shine a light on the wider industry. They remind people why going out, supporting local, and experiencing great hospitality matters.

So, well done again to everyone involved, winners, nominees, and the teams behind them. It’s thoroughly deserved.

Here’s to keeping that momentum going into the rest of the year.
