One of the great Italian wines, made exclusively from the highly tannic Nebbiolo grape in the Piedmont region. This is a good example of modern Barolo, made in a more approachable style than was traditionally the case. With the characteristic aroma of ripe plums, this is still weighty yet has elegant fruit, and with noticeably receding tannins, this will reward keeping and develop interesting complexity.
