A deliciously well-crafted blend of Merlot (80%), Cabernet Franc (10%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) from the right bank of the Dordogne river. Smooth and elegant body with an attractively bold tannic structure. There’s plenty of dark fruits (black cherries and blackberries) bound by luscious cassis notes. A sumptuous long finish of cinnamon, warm spices, white pepper, and liquorice. Goes fantastically well with charcuterie, steak frites, haricot beans or lentils. Also great paired with cheese such as Beaufort, Comté, and Manchego.
